New college union takes charge
The oath taking ceremony of the new College Union 2016-18 was
conducted in the portico of the college. A brief assembly was held and the
ceremony began with an invocation of God Almighty’s blessings.
A brief introduction to the proceedings were given by Dr. K.
Y. Benedict the Principal, declaration of the elected members was done by the
Returning Officer, Dr. Laji Varghese. A toast was proposed by the newly elected
Chairman followed by signing in of office bearers. This was followed by the
swearing ceremony by taking the Oath which was read out by the Principal. The
Function wound up with the reciting of College Anthem and National Anthem.
