Vande Mataram Quiz 2016

As part of Independence Day celebrations, on 16th August 2016 the Natural Science Department conducted a Quiz Programme “VandeMatharam 2016”. There were 6 teams named ‘Bapu’, ‘Nehru’, ‘Patel’, ‘Bose’, ‘Shastri’ & ‘Tagore’. The program consisted of four rounds named General Round, Movement Round, Quotes & Motto Round and Visual Round which were hosed by the following students Shilpa S. Nair, Soumya S. S., Arya Prasad, Shafi Thompson, Shabnam B. Nisa and Archana G. R. 
First prize was won by Malayalam Department, Second prize won by M.Ed. Department, third prize won by Physical Science Department. Cash awards were given to the winners during the assembly conducted by Malayalam Department on 17/08/2016. Consultation prize was also provided to other teams.

Independence Day 2016

Social Science Department conducted Speech Competition on 16th August 2016. Subject: “Deshasneham Swathanthryathinu Munpum Pimbum” Representativeds from all optional participated in the programme. The programme was judged by Ms. Kaveya (Teacher, Sarvodaya School)

Jai Ho 2016
As part of Independence Day celebrations, on 17th August 2016 the Mathematics optional conducted a Patriotic Sons competition “Jai Ho 2016”. There were 6 teams names ‘ Chauri Chaura’, ‘Dhandi March’, ‘Jallianwala Bagh’, ‘Khilafat’, ‘Quit India’, ‘Swadeshi’. On the same day the name of Mathematics Association ‘THEJAS’ was launched. Ms. Deepthi Elizabeth Mathew, Dr. Joju John, Mr. Ravi were the judges. Results were as follows:

Flash Mob

The students of English Department, Mar Theophilus Training College had conducted a Flash Mob on 12th August 2016 at 01.30 PM. The programme was organized at the college auditorium as a part of Independence Day Celebration. It was a collaboration of Dance, Group Song and Ottamthullal. Whole class actively participated in the programme under the supervision of the class teacher Dr. Laji Varghese and it was marked as a grand success. All over the programme received a great appreciation and positive response from the Principal, teachers and students. it was successful enough to bring about a unity and spirit of nationalism among the College Community

70th Independence Day Celebrations @ MTTC

A week long celebrations of the 70th Independence Day was conducted from 12.08.2016 to 19.08.2016.
A variety of programs were conducted by students of each optional which was an enriching experience lightened patriotic zeal amongst all.

Model Assembly

The faculty of MTTC conducted a Model Assembly on 27th Wednesday, July 2016. The Assembly was held in the portico of the college where all the B.Ed. an M.Ed. students of 2016-18 assembled. The sequence of events were as folllows.
