Congratulations Dr. Bindu B.

On the 14^th of July, 2015 the open defence of Mrs. Bindu B. Asst. Professor, MTTC was conducted at the Dept. of Education, Thycaud.

Prof. Dr. M. A. Sudheer, Academic Co-ordinator, Dept. Of Education, Central University of Kerala, Kasargode was the chairman. The Convenor of the open defence and Research Supervisor was Dr. K.T. Joseph (His Excellency Joseph Mar Thomas). The other prominent member of the viva board was Dr. Theresa Susan A. Dean and Head of the Dept. of Education, Uty of Kerala.

The title of the thesis is ‘Development of models for Teaching Economics at Secondary Level‘. After the presentation of the report the chairman posed a few questions and made some remarks. Mrs. Bindu B. defended her work successfully.  A scrumptious meal was also served by Dr. Bindu to share her happiness.

It is a matter of great joy for the entire MTTC family that one more member of our faculty has been awarded doctorate after many years of dedicated hard work.

Congratulations Dr. Bindu B. on your great achievement!!!

A New Beginning

The new batch of students under the revised Two Year scheme for both B.Ed. and M. Ed. Courses arrived on the 1^st of july for a brief meeting. Regular Classes began on the 9^th of July, 2015.

On the 9^th July there was an interreligious prayer followed by the introductory speech by Dr. K. Y. Benedict, Principal and message by Most Rev. Dr. Fr. Mathew Manakkarakavil, The teaching and administrative staff was introduced o both teacher and students.  The PTA meeting was conducted in the seminar hall and at the same time students were briefed about the course and its component papers.

Welcome Rev. Fr. Thomas Kayallackal

The new bursar of our college Rev. Fr. Thomas Kayallackal was given a warm welcome on 17^th June.

Teachers, Administrative staff and M. Ed. Students gathered together for the simple function which was held in the M. Ed. Classroom.  Representatives of each section welcomed and congratulated the new bursar. There was a rendition by the M.Ed. students to honour and welcome Fr. Thomas Kayallackal into the MTTC family. Each and every member of the college community introduced themselves to the bursar after which Rev. Fr. Thomas Kayallackal gave a reply to the toast.

Farewell Dear Bursar

A sloemn function biding farewell to our dear Rev. Fr. Roy George Vayalirrakkath was conducted on 21^st May

Teachers, administrative staff and student representatives gathered in the M.Ed. classroom for the function. His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Samuel Mar Irenios was the special guest of honour from the management.

Fr. Roy had served as the bursar of our college since 2006. During his tenure the college was accredited and reaccredited by NAAC with A grade. He will always be remembered as an able administrator with a compassionate heart. He is the epitome of simplicity and contributed immensely towards the effective functioning of the college without much pomp and show.

Now Fr. Roy has been assigned a new responsibility by the management. He would soon be taking charge as Principal of St. Mary’s higher secondary School, Anchal. Congratulations Father!!!

M.Ed. Admissions Begin

The admission for the new M.Ed. Batch under the revised 2 year curriculum begins today.
25 seats have been allocated to our M.Ed. Department.

B. Ed. FIRST SEMESTER MODEL EXAMINATION STARTED

The First Semester Model Examination of B.Ed. (2014-15) has began on 15th June 2015. the examination will conclude on 19th June 2015. the corrected answer scripts will be distributed on 23rd June 2015

59th Annual Sports Meet

The 59th Annual Sports Meet was held on 12th June, 2015. The meet was inaugurated with the flag hoisting ceremony by Dr. K. Y. Benedict, our principal.

A number of events such as 50 m race (women), 100m race(men/women), 400m race(men), 4x100m relay(men/women), 1km walk(women), long jump(men), shot put (men/women), musical chair, lemon and spoon race and tug of war(men/women) were conducted under the supervision of Dr. T. P. Jose, Associate Prof. in Physical Education. Renjith M.R. of Team Messi was declared the male champion and Panjamy T. of team Maradona, the female champion. Team Ronaldo bagged the overall championship. Certificates were distributed by the teaching faculty. 

After lowering the flag the sports meet for the year 2014-'15 was declared closed by Dr. Giby Geevarughese, Associate Prof. in Psychology.
