Dr. Giby Gevarughese (Associate Professor) and Dr. Joju John (Assistant Professor) served as Resource Persons in Doordarshan Dial-in-Talk Show namely ‘Samoohya Paadam’ on the Topic ‘Examination Fear Alleviation: Means and Techniques' on 20^th and 26^th February 2015 respectively.

First Semester 

Visioning Workshop for Two Year B.Ed. Curriculum Held

In continuation of the previous attempts, an one day workshop on adding more flesh and blood to the general framework for the two year B.Ed. curriculum was held on 20th February at Govt. College of Education THYCADU, Thiruvananthapuram. the core committe formed guidelines for the framing of different theoretical and practical components to be Incorporated as the revised NCTE guidelines 2014. Subject wise coordinators and panel of experts as observers and advisers were identified. A school internship along with a mini project besides the intensive multiphaseted practice teaching with training possibility in a digital world classroom are the expected hightlights of the four semester two year B.Ed. curriculum of Unversity of Kerala from the next admission onwards. The fourday work shop to be held at M.T.T.C. Nalanchira from 11th to 14 February will give a final touch to the proposed two year curriculum.

Seminar- Non-Violence City

            Today, on behalf of Population Club a Seminar was conducted by the Research Scholars from Italy on the Topic “Non-Violence City”. Our Principal Dr. K. Y. Benedict welcomed the scholars and gave a brief introduction. After that Mr. Lukha, passed the message about non-violence and distributed questionnaire to collect the opinions of the Teacher Trainees about non-violence.

          Miss. Fransica hold a quick interaction with the students after giving a brief introduction about the topic. This was followed by group discussion where students got opportunity to share their view point on non-violence.
