yogic exercises on learning disabilities”, the major research project funded by
UGC in April 2015.

Dr. Joju John, Assistant
Professor, addressed 300 teachers of the Holy Family Sisters, Thrissur on the
topic, ‘Training in Art of Teaching’ in August 22nd 2015.
Ms. Anu Rachel Jogi, Assistant
Professor M.Ed. Department, presented paper titled, ‘Awareness on Neuromyths in
Education among Teachers’ at the UGC sponsored National Seminar
‘Professionalizing Psychology, Current Trends’ held in KE College of Arts and
Science, Mannanam.

Women's cell of Mar Theophilus training college has celebrated women's day on 10/3/2015. Dr.Meenakshy Ramachandran (Principal, Christ Nagar College of Education) has given a talk on " women empowerment". Dr. K.Y.Benedict ( Principal, Mar theophilus Training college) and Dr.Maya.S( Coordinator, Women's cell) have given felicitations.

Water Day and Forest Day Celebration

Natural Science
Association ‘Green Cafe’ conducted a Poster Presentation competition as a part
of Water Day and Forest Day Celebrations on 25.03.2015 in Natural Science
optional class and a Poster Exhibition was conducted. A Food Fest was also conducted
along with this by the Natural Science optional Students. It was a great
success; all Faculties and Students took part in it.

Food for Love

Physical Science Optional ‘SPARK' has initiated a charity work named ‘Pothi Choru’ with a motto ‘Food for Love’. Around 50 food packets were collected from the teaching staff, administrative staff and students of the college to be distributed to the poor and needy. Mr. Joshi, a native of Trivandrum helped make this charity programme a success by providing transportation facility. It was decided that food packets would be delivered on the first Friday of every month.
Visual Ethnography Exhibition

On 26th February, the Physical
Science Association ‘SPARK’ conducted an exhibition as part of the Science Day Celebration.
The exhibition was inspired from ‘Visual Ethnography’ which is an effective tool
to convey science to students. Learning becomes a natural process when it is
connected to daily life. About 40 charts displaying real life situations
involving physical phenomena was prepared and presented. Almost 150 students of
MTTC, teachers and the teacher educators of SCERT under School and Mass Education Department,
Govt. of Odisha
participated in this event.
