M.Ed. Twinning programme - Vyooha 2024

The Twinning Programme for the Master of Education (M.Ed) – Vyooha 2024 was organized to foster collaboration and interaction between students of our college and the Bethania Rehabilitation Centre. The program aimed to provide a platform for cultural exchange, learning, and community engagement.

A bus departed from the college to transport students from the rehabilitation centre. Students from the rehabilitation centre were warmly welcomed at the college portico.The participants enjoyed refreshments at the M.Ed. classroom. A prayer song, led by Jeena Mol, set a positive and harmonious tone for the event. Albin Roy extended a formal welcome to all attendees. Prof (Dr) Joju John, the Principal, delivered an address emphasizing the significance of the twinning program. The official inauguration of the event took place with lighting of lamp Rev. Fr. Thomas Kayalakkal felicitated the gathering. Prof (Dr) V Reghu, the M.Ed. Director, shared insights and perspectives on the program. Sr. Jency SIC, Director of Bethania Rehabilitation, shared her thoughts on the collaboration and added facts with regard to policies and problems faced by the rehabilitation centre. Chithra B presented a comprehensive report on the activities and achievements of the twinning program. A short video segment clubing the activities of the M.Ed students at rehabilitation center was displayed before the college audience. Students from Bethania Rehabilitation Centre showcased their talents through various cultural events. Gifts were distributed to the students from rehabilitation center as a token of appreciation. Rajani PV expressed gratitude and thanked everyone involved in making the program successful.The event concluded with the rendition of the national anthem. A meal was provided for both students and faculty from Bethania Rehabilitation Centre.Participants returned to the institute, concluding the Twinning Programme for the day post photography session.The Twinning Programme (M.Ed) - Vyooha 2024 was a resounding success, promoting cultural exchange, mutual understanding, and fostering a sense of community. The collaborative efforts of all involved parties contributed to the overall success of the event. The college looks forward to more such initiatives in the future.

THEOSA MEETING REPORT 2024

Mar Theophilus Training College Old Students Association (THEOSA) held a meeting at Mar Theophilus Training College in Nalanchira, Thiruvananthapuram On 13/01/2023. The event was a convergence of alumni, faculty, and current students, fostering a sense of community and celebrating the institution's rich heritage.

The program commenced with a soulful invocation, setting a serene tone for the gathering.

Dr. Joju John, the Principal in charge of MTTC, delivered a warm welcome speech, extending gratitude to all present and emphasizing the importance of such reunions in nurturing the bond between the alma mater and its alumni.

The highlight of the event was the Presidential Address by Dr Esther Glades .Her insightful words not only reflected on the journey of the institution but also inspired a sense of pride among the alumni for being part of the MTTC legacy.

Following this, a Guruvandanam ceremony paid homage to the mentors and educators who have played a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape of Mar Theophilus Training College.

Dr. Shalini S, Secretary of THEOSA and Principal of SN Gurukripa College, Pothencode, presented a comprehensive report, highlighting the achievements, initiatives, and future goals of THEOSA. The report was accompanied by a visual presentation, providing a dynamic and engaging overview of the association's activities.

A significant moment during the meeting was the release of "THEOSA Voice," a symbolic representation of the collective thoughts and aspirations of the association. This publication aims to serve as a platform for alumni to share their experiences, insights, and success stories.

The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Deepthi Elizabeth Mathew, Assistant Professor at MTTC, expressing gratitude to all participants, organizers, and contributors who made the THEOSA meeting a memorable and enriching experience.

The THEOSA meeting at Mar Theophilus Training College not only served as a reunion but also reinforced the strong bond among the alumni and their commitment to contributing positively to the growth and development of their alma mater.
