Independence Day Celebrations 2020 was celebrated by 64th College Union EKAYANA on Virtual Platform from 9am to 11am on 15^th August followed by the launching of Podcast Channel by Media Club. National Flag Hoisting at college will be on 8.30am grounded on Covid-19 protocol.

B.Ed second semester students of Mar Theophilus Training College conducted the photo challenge on behalf of Eco club . Considering the pandemic situation Eco club conducted the photo challenge on 16-08-2020 from 8pm to 9 pm online.  The theme for this photo challenge was ' Save the Nature'

 

 

Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat and RUSA 2.0 CONSTRUCTION STARTED

 

3^rd August 2020, 

‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’,the major flagship programmes of the Government were launched in the college by National Integration Talk and Cultural Integrating Events in online-mode.

Today the Construction Agency Habitat Technology Group, has taken the site for construction . Decision was taken to make Preparatory work  done on 17th August

RUSA 2.0 scheme implementation was initiated by the Habitat Technology Group Construction Wing at the work site in the college premises and the new Construction was blessed by his Beatitude Cardinal Moran Mor Baselios Cleemis Catholicos, the Patron of the college on Monday the 17th of August  at 9am .The construction part is partial extension of the Second Floor Right Wing of Nearly 720 Sq. Meter built-up area. Architect R. Sankar , the Chirman of Habitat Group will be available on the occassion. The estimated cost is INR. 1 Cr.A combined meeting of Management, Teaching and Non-Teaching Segments were conducted for the arrangements related to Construction, Monitoring, Documenting Committees from RUSA Scheme on 30^th July. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

FACULTY MEETINGS

 

For updating of the regular activities focussing the third semester activities and admission proceedings for M.Ed. and B.Ed. related to collegean online staff meeting was conducted on biweekly.

CLUB ACTIVITIES

 

The month of July and August was the time for Club Activities and Competitions associated with the college.

VEGETABLE HARVEST IN COLLEGE

 

On 13^th July the first harvesting of the vegetables from the college vegetable garden was a successful effort.

UNIVERSITY EXAMS

 

M.Ed. University Exam

 As per the university regulations, M.Ed. Exams were commenced on June16^th for Fourth Semester and 17^th June for Second Semester based on Covid-19 precautions.

Online University Examination

The college conducted fourth semester B.Ed. Exam in Online Mode as per the University guidelines.

Second Semester B.Ed. Degree Exam

The Second Semester B.Ed. Degree Exam was begun in the college from June 29^th and ended on August 26^th due to Covid-19 constraints.
