Mock Press

As part of 70th Independence Day Celebrations, the M.Ed. 2016-18 Batch students conducted a Mock Press. The students were welcomed with bouquet of flowers made with colours of National Flag. The title of the programme was ‘Vidambanam’ which means imitation other people as it is. The mock had two sessions, the first was personal introduction ans the second was answering for the questions of the judges. The judges were Dr. S. Maya, Ms. Salini S. & Ms. Anu Rachel Jogi. A student from each optional participated in the programme.   Sarojini Naidu, Rani Lakshmi Bhai, Mangal Pande, Jawaharlal Nehru and Kasthurba Gandhi were the participants of the Mock. Among the mock Jawaharlal Nehru & Mangal Pande were awarded the first prize, Kasthurba Gandhi mock got the second prize. The programme adjourned with vote of thanks and National Anthem

17th August 2016 Wednesday afternoon 2.30 PM, Malayalam optional conducted ‘ Varayarangu’ Stage Show on the occasion of 70th Independence day. The guest was Adv. Jithesh, who is one of the Worlds fast cartoonist.

Vande Mataram Quiz 2016

As part of Independence Day celebrations, on 16th August 2016 the Natural Science Department conducted a Quiz Programme “VandeMatharam 2016”. There were 6 teams named ‘Bapu’, ‘Nehru’, ‘Patel’, ‘Bose’, ‘Shastri’ & ‘Tagore’. The program consisted of four rounds named General Round, Movement Round, Quotes & Motto Round and Visual Round which were hosed by the following students Shilpa S. Nair, Soumya S. S., Arya Prasad, Shafi Thompson, Shabnam B. Nisa and Archana G. R. 
First prize was won by Malayalam Department, Second prize won by M.Ed. Department, third prize won by Physical Science Department. Cash awards were given to the winners during the assembly conducted by Malayalam Department on 17/08/2016. Consultation prize was also provided to other teams.

Independence Day 2016

 
“Deshasneham Swathanthryathinu Munpum Pimbum”
Social Science Department conducted Speech Competition on 16th August 2016. Subject: “Deshasneham Swathanthryathinu Munpum Pimbum” Representativeds from all optional participated in the programme. The programme was judged by Ms. Kaveya (Teacher, Sarvodaya School)

II Prize          -           Anju (English)
II Prize          -           Joju (Mathematics Optional)

Jai Ho 2016
As part of Independence Day celebrations, on 17th August 2016 the Mathematics optional conducted a Patriotic Sons competition “Jai Ho 2016”. There were 6 teams names ‘ Chauri Chaura’, ‘Dhandi March’, ‘Jallianwala Bagh’, ‘Khilafat’, ‘Quit India’, ‘Swadeshi’. On the same day the name of Mathematics Association ‘THEJAS’ was launched. Ms. Deepthi Elizabeth Mathew, Dr. Joju John, Mr. Ravi were the judges. Results were as follows:

II Prize          -           Natural Science Optional
III Prize        -           Social Science Optional
