Talk on current practices under SSA

Mrs. Shyla  Bhai, SSA Trainer from Kaniyapuram Block Resource Centre gave a talk on the Central Government project,  SSA and its practices in the primary and secondary school system. Special focus was given to Right to Free and Compulsory Education Act, inclusive education, SSA interventions, funding and its current objectives.

            It was a highly informative and interactive session which gave the students a relatively direct perspective about the current educational policy and practices.

Under the guidance of Dr. T. P. Jose, Associate Professor of our college, a condolence meeting in memory of our very beloved former president Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam was held in the college Auditorium. All the students, Teachers and Administrative Staff lighted candles and paid respects to the great soul who will always be remembered as a leader and humanitarian

Guardian Angel Programme

One of the best practices of our college, the Guardian Angel programme for the 2014-15 batch of students was initiated on 27^th July 2015. The students were divided into 11 groups of eleven to twelve students each. Each group will be under the guidance of a teacher who will provide all support to every student under his/ her charge
