Arts Fest 2018

Post-Flood- Relief Efforts
1st year Bed students along with faculty members
joint hands in union with Govt. of Kerala in the march towards the creation of
NavaKerala by lighting the lamp and marking their creative identity on a king
sized canvas. Dr. K. Y. Benedict, Principal initiated the programme with his
message on the canvas and Dr. Giby Geevarughese delivered message in the
concluding session.

coordinated their assembly on 12th September 2018.
Holy Mass
AICUF unit of the college organized the Holy Mass on 7th
September 2018. Rev. Fr. Thomas Kayyalakkal celebrated the holy mass.
Teachers day celebration

62nd College Union conducted a programme on
Teachers Day ‘Gurucharya 2018’ on 5th September at the auditorium.
Sri. Ganapathy Pothy, who was selected as the best teacher was the chief guest.
Dr. K. Y. Benedict, rev. Fr. Thomas Kayallakkal, all te teachers participated
in the programme. Principal honoured the Chief Guest by adorning him with ‘Ponnada’
and students showed their love and respect to their teachers in a traditional
way.
Feedback after practice teaching
2017-19 batch after practice teaching returned th the
college on 3rd September. They shared their experiences and view
points in the general feedback session held in the general hall.

Physical Science Association ‘Insight’ organized their
optional assembly on 29th August 2018.
Social Science Association organized their assembly on 5th
September with a variety of programmes. They honoured the teachers by giving
cards and flowers.
Independence Day celebration

72nd Independence Day celebration started with
Campus cleaning cum Collective Food initiative/ exchange. Dr. T. P. Jose, in
charge of the Health Club initiated the programme on 14th August,
Dr. Ancy A. S and Mr. Nadhaninr assisted the programme. On 15th
August, Principal Dr. K. Y. Benedict hoisted the National Flag and Social
Science Optional Students conducted a Quiz programme.
Social visit
The B.Ed. 2018-20 batch students selected Shalom for their
social visit in connection with curriculum requirements. Dr. Giby Geevarughese
inaugurated the programme at Shalom and Dr. Joju John handled the sessions.
Students spend the whole day sympathetically with the mentally challenged
students and entertained them by songs and games.

Natural Science Association ‘Pritvi’ organized assembly on 8th
August. On the occasion, they distributed paper pen to all the MTTC members as
a message to preserve our environment and prevent plastic waste.
Essay Writing competition

Sathya Sai Seva organization conducted an essay writing
competition on 6th August AN at the college general hall. The title
of the competition was ‘My idea of a ideal person’. Students from all optional participated
in the competition.
Friendship day celebrations
1st year Natural Science Association ‘Prithvi’
organized a Friendship day celebration on 6th August 2018 with a
video presentation and a short message. On the occasion they distributed a
smiley badge to the members of the entire college.
