"Nagakazhcha"- An awareness programme on Snakes

61st & 62nd batch students of Population Education Club conducted an awareness programme on Snakes at MTTC. Sri. Vava Suresh engaged a very interesting session. The staff & Students got a direct experience of various types of snakes and different facts on our bio diversity. they also got an awareness on other false superstitious beliefs regarding snakes. altogether the session was a memorable one.


TEOSA Fest

THEOSA FEST was organized on 13th January 2018. The Alumini members who passed out before were felicitated and honored. they shared their experience on the occasion. A new award was instituted by Dr. K. Y. Benedict in memory of Prof. Mary Mathew, for the best lesson template designing from each option. Awards for achievements were also given. the formal function was followed by a colourful extravaganza by the members of THEOSA and also the students of MTTC

TOEFL- Awareness Programme

TOEFL Awareness Programme by ELT International Pennsylvania, was organized at MTTC on 10th Jan. Mr. Rakesh Mishra, Chief of the group gave a detailed description about TOEFL and showed a video related to the importance of TOEFL. an exhibition on a specially equipped bus was arranged after the TOEFL introduction class.

Transnational Colloquium

MTTC on behalf of IQSC, organized a Transnational Colloquium and an open discussion on 9th January 2018. Two Professors & 18 Students (Graduate-Dual Master) from ELON University, North Carolina, USA arranged an exhibition on various concepts (how to teach Mathematics & Science using Simpler Methods) and shared and discussed their views about the educational system in India and Abroad.

Micro Teaching

Micro Teaching Classes were conducted on 5th January 2018 in each optional classes. Students recorded their lessons & discussions based on that.

Holy Mass

05.01.2018
holy mass of the new year was celebrated on 5th January 2018 at college chapel. The college AICUF Unit arranged the chapel and did necessary arrangements for the Holy Mass.Rev. Fr. Thomas Kayalakkal, Bursar celebrated the Holy Mass for the college community.

Spelling Bee Competition

English Association 'Castalia' organized a competition named 'SpellingBee'. The students from each optional participated in the programme held in the General Hall on 5th January 2018. 10 students were selected for the second round competition.

Christmas Celebration

AICUF, 61st & 62nd College Union organized a Christmas celebration on 22nf December 2017 in the afternoon session. Rev. Fr. Padipurayil delivered the Christmas message & cut the Christmas Cake. Students showcased their talents after the formal meeting.

I Semester Examination for 2017-19 batch was held from 13th to 22nd December 2017.

THEOSA Executive Meeting

In connection with the THEOSA the old students meet of Mar Theophilus Training College, an executive meeting was held on 11th December 2017 in the Principals chamber.
